How to use Si3D CERABIDE HD Coating?

Safety instructions

Be sure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling and applying Nanolex Car Care products. Please refer to the label for further information.

Optimal working conditions:

Temperature: 5 - 30°C

Humidity: 30-70%

Choose a shady spot for application, away from direct sunlight.

Cleaning

Nanolex Si3D Cerabide HD is intended for use on clear coated surfaces, rims (both clear coated and uncoated) and hard plastics. The surfaces must be thoroughly dried and completely free of contaminants, dust, and other residues. In cases where machine polishing was performed prior to application, it is important to remove all polish residues. It is recommended to wash the vehicle with Nanolex PreWash Concentrate after machine polishing to effectively remove most contaminants. To remove remaining contaminants (fillers and other surface residues), use Nanolex EX immediately before applying Si3D Cerabide HD. Use Nanolex microfiber cloths for this process, making sure to turn or replace the cloth as needed.

Application

Apply 8-10 drops of Nanolex Si3D Cerabide HD to a clean applicator cloth.

Spread the product evenly over the surface using crisscross motions, ensuring all areas are covered without applying excessive pressure.

Spread Nanolex Si3D Cerabide HD over the surface until no visible traces of wetness remain.

Wait 2-3 minutes before gently rubbing away the residue with a soft microfiber cloth. It's important to use gentle movements and avoid applying pressure.

Drying/curing

Allow the product to cure on the surface for at least 24 hours at room temperature and ensure the area is well ventilated and not air-conditioned. The treated surfaces should not come into contact with water during the curing period. The vehicle or treated surfaces must not be washed for the first 7 days after application.
