How to use Si3D CERABIDE Coating?

Si3D CERABIDE is formulated with virtually no VOCs, using state-of-the-art carrier materials, and is not classified as hazardous material for shipping. Si3D CERABIDE achieves its full potential with a single coat, which can be easily and safely applied to all types of paint. The protective layer created with Si3D CERABIDE is suitable for application on painted surfaces, wheel rims, and hard plastic parts.

Preparation

Clean the surface to be treated thoroughly to remove dirt, grease and other contaminants. Use a suitable cleaner such as Nanolex Ex or Nanolex PreWash.

Make sure that the surface is completely dry before starting the application.

Polish (if necessary): If the surface is heavily scratched or oxidized, polish it with a suitable polish such as Nanolex Heavy Cut Polish or Nanolex Finishing Polish before applying the coating.

Application Si3D CERABIDE

Apply Nanolex Si3D CERABIDE at a processing temperature between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid direct sunlight during application. Shake the bottle well to distribute the ingredients evenly. Apply a few drops of the coating to a lint-free application cloth or applicator and spread the coating evenly over the surface in circular motions. Leave the coating on for about 10-15 minutes until it begins to dry. Buff the treated surface with a clean, soft microfiber cloth to remove excess product and achieve a high-gloss finish.

Drying/curing

Allow the coated surface to dry for at least 4 hours before exposing it to moisture or other external influences. Full curing occurs after 24 hours. During this time, the vehicle should not be washed or wet. To care for the coated surface, use mild cleaning agents such as Nanolex Pure Shampoo. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive washing to maximize the life of the coating.
