Safety instructions

Make sure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling and applying Nanolex Car Care products. Please refer to the label for further information.

Optimal working conditions:

Temperature: 5 - 30°C

Humidity: 30-70%

Choose a shady place for application, away from direct sunlight.

Cleaning

Nanolex Si3D Rim is suitable for application on all types of rims (clear coated and uncoated). Ensure the rims are completely dry and free of any contaminants, dust or residue. If any previous cleaning or treatment has taken place, all residues must be completely removed. We recommend cleaning the rims with Nanolex PreWash Concentrate. To ensure all contaminants, oils, and fillers are thoroughly removed, clean with Nanolex EX immediately before application. Use Nanolex microfiber cloths for this process, turning or replacing the cloth as needed to maintain effectiveness.

Application

Manual application

Apply 8-10 drops of Nanolex Si3D Rim to a microfiber application cloth. Apply the product evenly to the rim surface in a crisscrossing motion, without applying excessive pressure. Allow the product to dry evenly. After 2 to 3 minutes, rub off the residue with a soft microfiber cloth using light movements and avoiding pressure.

Application

Spray application

If you are working with an airbrush or HVLP sprayer, make sure the device is clean and properly adjusted. For HVLP applications, set the pressure to 2-3 bar and use a 0.5 nozzle. Apply Nanolex Si3D Rim evenly to the rim surface, ensuring complete coverage. Allow the product to dry and settle on the surface. No wiping is required after spraying.

Drying/curing

Allow the product to cure on the rim surface for at least 24 hours at room temperature and ensure the area is well ventilated. Avoid any contact with water on the treated rim surfaces during the curing time. Do not wash the rims for the first 7 days after application.
