Training at Nanolex 2026

Welcome to another blog post from us, here at Nanolex in Germany. Today we are going to talk to you about training and why it is important.

It’s irrelevant whether you work in the automotive industry or in the catering industry (or any other industry for that matter) constant learning will always benefit you and the company. Whether its learning about a new product or refreshing your knowledge, learning is learning.

Here at Nanolex we are currently working on improving our already popular courses and looking at adding new course to the mix, but that’s a work in progress and will be discussed at many different levels over the coming months and will probably be available towards the end of 2026 early 2027.

2 main courses: Enthusiast and Professional (with certification)

Here is a little more about the courses, both last 1 day, but follow a slightly different direction, for the enthusiasts we are looking at providing information on how people can get the best from cleaning and protecting their investment, with a small area on polishing and coatings. However, with the Professionals we want to show them how to get the best possible return for themselves and their customers. The professionals still get to learn about the cleaning products, but most are more interested in the polishing and coatings. One of the main points for both the trainings are that our customers know how our products work. This improves the customer experience as they are getting the best possible performance out of our products.

Learning on courses

A phrase that is often said:

“I know how to wash a car, we don’t need to spend much time on that”

This is something that many people have different approaches for and we always show the “Nanolex Way” and many of these people who mention the phrase above will often be surprised. Washing a car is not just washing a car. It is very rare that someone doesn’t learn something from the Nanolex wash process.

If I look back to before I started working at Nanolex, I thought my decontamination wash process was good, however, I had my eyes opened and have learnt from this. The process that I now use is drastically different and it allows me to wash the car in a safer way, if you ask my parents they would say I started washing cars at 4 years old with a mop and bucket for the kitchen floor, there is also a picture of this (and yes it was solid black paint).

Product choice

This may sound like a simple thing, but many people will use the incorrect product for the incorrect task, simply because it was easier to reach on the shelf or they mixed too much of the previous product and don’t want it to go to waste.

Why is it a problem, well….

Lets take an example from a customer of ours. They have a huge turnover of product and before they started using Nanolex they were using another brand (which I do not know), but the car washers ( I don’t think I can call them detailers) would use an extremely acidic wheel cleaner because it was quick to remove the contamination, however instead of putting that back and picking up the correct shampoo they would use the wheel cleaner as shampoo.

This was leaving etching/marring etc on the paint and leaving the fleet of cars in a bad way. After completing training with the employees, we were able to teach them the correct method and why using the incorrect product was making it worse in the long term for them and the vehicle fleet. The training gave the employees a way forward and to reduce the damage being caused. Since then they have also taken the time to learn a little about polishing. All I can say is, the fleet of cars is looking much better after some training.

Group Training

All those years ago, you know, before COVID, we used to complete trainings in small groups. COVID changed that for us. We had to offer training on a 1:1 bases due to restrictions. Here at Nanolex HQ we have kept this practise in place and ill tell you why.

When you are forced into groups with people you don’t know there will always be a mix of people. Some more outgoing and others a bit more reserved. I was always one of the latter and to some resort, I still am. That’s not a bad thing and often those that are reserved take on more of what has been said.

After completing a training and at the end of the day I always ask if there are any questions. There are always a couple, however I would also regularly receive messages with questions afterwards. This greatly reduced when completing 1:1 training as here in Saarbrucken we can fine tune the day to the customers needs. If we have a company coming for training, naturally they come in one group, as they can work off of each other when retuning back to their workplace and the enthusiast days are also normally in group form.

Certification

What does the certificate give you as a professional? It gives you many different plus points:

  • Listing on our website, so new customers can find you
  • Competitive rates on the products
  • Access to our photos/videos that you can use to promote your business
  • And of course, access to products only available after completing the approved detailer training.

I hope you have enjoyed this little look in to the training here at Nanolex HQ in Germany. If you would like to take part in some training or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. I look forward to meeting some of you here in Saarbrucken.

Your feedback is important to us, it helps us improve and engineer new products to protect our cars, or in this case to provide the best training possible.
